In Brasil forget about to-do lists, forget about trying to accomplish more than 1 thing in a day...even that is a big deal. Everyone moves at a snails ´pace, especially this last week, free of classes. Wake up at somepoint; eat breakfast; putter around the house; use the internet; watch dubbed moves on tv; stroll over to UENF and work on Matriculating...still; sit around forever waiting for people to show up in their office because no one uses things like appointments; waste the day on idle chat; stroll down the street to grab a bite to eat at the self service, hug 5people on the way there and act like you have an eternity to make the trip; wait in line for churrasco, for a drink, for the bill, to pay the bill, and don´t let it phase you in the least; sit in the shade, sipping away on guaraná chatting with a friend, meeting a few more; go to the SuperBom to pick up some stupid thing; nap again; head back home or go downtown to get something done; make the 30min walk back, strolling along leisurely, of course; pick on some food/heat up some nescau; settle down infront of a novella; nap again; take your 3rd shower of the day; spend 40min get dressed; head down the street to get a drink; go home at 1am and shower again; go to sleep for the next 8-9 hours. Life in Brasil.
