Maddie currently looks like a drown rat... I took her outside and she ZEROED IN on a dead bird in the yard, tore off to it and began rolling around on it. Yuck. Now Mommy and Daddy are giving her a bath, and Aunt Nikkie is giggling because her little bug (my nickname for Maddie because she's tiny) looks all sad and stringy.
In other news today's Dominic Deegan comic got a good laugh out of me. I'm really happy to see Gregory getting some attention after the last huge epic story arc. I have to give Mookie credit, he does gutsy things with and to his characters, and instead of retconning or conveniently pulling some deus ex machina to solve their problems, he makes them cope and move on with their lives. I really like that. ..maybe I've been reading too much young adult fiction lately if that impresses me. Or maybe it's because I grew up on Marvel comics. "They're not really dead! THAT'S FRESH!"
