OK, I SWEAR, I didn't get knocked out of commission for an entire week because of St. Patty's Day. ...Although it was a lot of fun! A lot of people turned up, Nessa made yuuuummy food... (lord help me, I gotta get the recipe for that cream cheese mushroom bacon dip...) One small injury was sustained that actually had nothing to do with alcohol, just with Probe being a klutz. He was having a good old time riling up Dakota, Joe and Nessa's bullboxer mix, and while chasing her around the living room, he tripped and fell into the wall. That was the extent of it. It ended in the only way a gathering at Joe and Nessa's place CAN end... with a Kid Icarus tournament. (Which sadly, I didn't win... I'd worked a full day before the party started and by 6 am, I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore.)
Have just been busy... lot of work, and got my car taken care of. Oh GOD, it runs QUIETLY now... This... this will take adjusting to! How pathetic is that, I have to get used to my car working WELL? I should have gotten this done before and saved everyone the stress of having to listen to me whine, but my tax refund came in last week and that REALLY took a load of stress off my mind. Now it's not only fixed, it's PAID FOR! *insert happy squeal here*
This has really helped improve my disposition. I've spent so much time stressing over real lifey stuff, now that most of it is taken care of, I feel much better. I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things. Was suffering from a bit of muse block, but Nall's is now in OVERDRIVE because with the release of the PSP remake of Silver Star Story, Lunar characters are coming out of the woodworks on dear_mun! EEEE!! This past week, I've seen posts from Luna, Tempest, Hiro, Ruby and MISSED OUT on a post from GHALEON. *begin repeatedly headdesking* HOW. COULD. I. MISS. THE. ONLY. OTHER. RECURRING. LUNAR. CHARACTER. IN. ETERNAL. BLUE?! AND. THE. MUN. WAS. REALLY. GOOD ARRRRGH! I hope some of them will come to Memento Eden... ;.; Lunar characters = epic awesomeness. I, I-I really want a Ruby!! WE NEED THE PINKY FLYING CAT!! SOMEONE, GIVE ME AN EXCUSE TO UPLOAD THE SCORCHED NALL FACE ICON!!
*sigh* I'm better now. Just hadda get that out of my system... ...Would rock to have a Leo around too... because c'mon, the world needs more painfully obvious masked vigilantes...
