Where have you been hiding out lately, honey? You can't dress trashy 'til you spend a lot of money.

I like this song a lot. Today was an activity period, so periods 1-4 were shortened. First period was math and we had a sub, so Katie and I just chillaxed. Second period was art, and Katie and I chillaxed again, and while doing so, we found Mike Finn's weakness! Good thing, too, because that kid is so obnoxious. So anyway, we found out that his weakness is hearing about that guy that made the Crips and how he got killed. We were talking about it, and Mike Finn, a.k.a. Hat Kid, a.k.a. Mr. Obnoxious, was like, "I can't be in this room anymore because of what they're talking about" and he left. And it was really bizzaro because he always talks about annoying stuff that makes me want to kill myself, but I never whine about it, and needless to say, I never leave the room about it. And we weren't talking loud or anything. What a weirdo. Anyway, third period was English and I had a grammar test, and I think I did a good job on it. Fourth period was Spanish, and we got our progress report and I'm getting a D-, but that means if I don't bring that down for the rest of the year, I won't have to take Spanish ever again in my life. But if I fail, I'll have to take Spanish 3 over again. So the interesting thing that happened in that class was Miss Hodges told us we could get extra credit if we wrote a song about the stuff we were learning, which was the uses for "por" and "para". That sounded like fun, so I wrote a song for para and one for por. The para one was to the tune of Jingle Bells, and the por one was to the tune of Heavy Metal Drummer by Wilco. After Spanish was the activity period, so we went to the gym and some lady talked for a little bit and said, "Mmmmkay" a bunch of times, and then Sean and Droukas passed out student ID cards to people who didn't have them yet, and then Mr. Paul, the principal, talked about the school construction and what that's going to be like. And then we had a bunch of time still in the period, so some people played truth or dare. I got dared to play the Uncomfortable Game with the military school kid, who, by the way, is a dreamboat. But it was difficult because it was so hard to make him feel uncomfortable. So I'm not going to go into detail about that. This sounds sketchier than it is. After that, there was this rolling portable staircase thing with 4 or 5 steps and I got dared to stand on the top step of that and wave like a princess while Aisha rolled me across the gym, in front of everyone in my grade. So that was pretty funny. Some people clapped when I was done. Lily was in charge of the photography from my camera of that, and she took a video, so I can't post it on here. But I'm pretty sure Julia and Tara have photos, so I'll post them the next time I update with pictures. After the activity period, I had science and we went over our tests and I got a 76 I think. So that was good. And boring. Then lunch happened and I ate on my couch. After that was gym, where I athletically participated in the game of volleyball. I'm terrible at all sports. Then I had history, and Mr. Field reviewed for a test tomorrow. Then school ended and I went home, took a shower, and wrote in this journal. That's all. Catchya later.
