dead i am the knife..
it's been a little while...there's been a good amount of stuff going on, but most of it is pretty insignificant and not worth bringing up on here. so i guess i can just go into some highlights...
- there was September Twilight's show last week. they were great, as always, and they're moving onto the next round, which will be at the Paradise something something in Boston. seriously, after hearing the rest of the bands that night, it was just a given that they had it...it was just nice to hear it being confirmed at the end. Katey and Erica and i stayed till the end..so we didn't leave till about midnight, maybe later than that..we wouldn't have gotten any sleep, had we left without knowing for sure. i got to see Jonah! so awesome, it had to be at least a year and a half since i last saw him. he looks a little different...more preppy white-boy-ish...but still Jonah. and the guys were great. i gave old photos that i took of them (they're mad old..from the summer before last at the TranceBuddha) to Bill...needless to say, they were pretty amused by them. talked to Neil a lot, about school and his recent breakup and shit. i love that kid to death - so amazing. he's just one of those people that you can't ever imagine being an asshole to anyone. i'm really proud of them. :)
- my Valentine's Day was quite alright. can't complain. obviously, i hung out with Kenny...and everything was the same as always. the only difference was that we bought each other stuff (small things due to money issues) and he had to drive the LeSabre that he used to drive before the Lancer. it was definitely weird being back in that car...brought back memories, let me tell ya. ;)
- saw the Butterfly Effect with Katey, Jeremy, and his friend..the name escapes me at the moment. i was really happy with it - it was really fucked up and twisted, but very good. and Ashton Kutcher is the hotness. perfect in every sense of the word. i'm in love with him.
damn Demi Moore. damn her to hell... - i'm already going to 2 concerts in the next couple months...Tantric and Shinedown on March 11th, and A Perfect Circle on April 30th...it's gonna be awesome. i'm so freakin' excited. :D i fully intend on going to Ozzfest this summer. i missed the last 2, since someone who will remain nameless (but i love very very much...) wasn't comfortable with me going. i've learned my lesson and plan on going with..i dunno..not him. gah. i should really be careful with my money, since i need to save up for paying off car insurance, cell phone bill and..other stuff that may come up. seems like the less money i have, the bigger the urge i have to spend it.
- Scott's heading over to Iraq today. yea. Iraq. :'( sucks monkeys. and he's gonna be there for at least 6 months...so crappy, dude. yesterday was the last time i'd be actually talking to him for a long time. of course it had to be during work, so i had to get off the phone with him pretty abruptly..but i have snail mail and e-mail. should be alright. i'll prolly send one his way when i'm done with this, just to wish him good luck and stuff. i'm gonna miss that dude...but he'll be okay. he can handle himself really well in these situations, and he's been there before so he knows what to expect. he'll be fine.
well. all that being said, i think i'll go get some caffeine...i'm hanging out with Erica and Justin later on, and i'm gonna watch the O.C. yea. i watched it once and got addicted ever since. later days.
