bring me a light, make my life worth something more..~

so i just got back from my first day of classes...and it wasn't too bad. i'm tired as fuck, but the day overall was alright. to make things somewhat easier, i slept at Erica's last night, and we had to get up at around 6:30 cuz i left my schedule at home and we had to stop by my house really quick so i could pick it up. :D hee, silly Nikki. then we got soda cuz we needed caffeine in a big way...anyways. my schedule's not awesome, per say...but tolerable.

English Comp. 101 is prolly going to be pretty good, since Erica's in there with me, and the teacher seems cool enough. plus, it's all writing and i don't think i do enough of that. hopefully i'll do well in there, that's the only class i have the huge concern about. if i wanna major in it when i transfer somewhere else then i have to do well. then there's Intro to Psychology, which i know i'll like...i've always liked Psych., probably cuz i've had cool teachers. the professor for this class (i don't remember the names for any of these people so you'll have to bear with me for now) is cool, he reminds me of Mr. Godbout - who was my Psych. teacher for senior year - but about 25 years older. and later on in the semester, we're gonna go to an open AA meeting...that would kick ass. i know that sounds sick but i've always wanted to see what one of those was like without actually having the problem. so yea.

then i have a break from 10-12. Erica has hers from 10-11, so that's cool..then Mark has his from 11-1 so i get him till mine's over. but for today i spent the second hour in the car, blasting the radio. i'll probably be stuck doing homework or studying every other day anyways. then there's Intermediate Algebra...cuz i really suck at Math. but because of that, it seems wicked easy. it's basically review from my class from senior year...factoring. it's been pounded into my head so much that i can probably do it with my eyes closed. gah.

aaand the the required one that i didn't want to take. Self Assessment and Career Development. i already know what i want to do, but since i'm in General Studies...i guess i don't have a choice. i don't like it that much. there are a couple of nice people in there so it'll be okay, it's just gonna be pointless. oh wells.

eugh. i just spent this whole time talking about SCHOOL. EUUUUUGGGGHHH! thank god i'm done. and i'm gonna leave you with this:

puts things into perspective, doesn't it? later days.
