Today's the first day of the rest of my life...
Wow! I really need to update this more regularly. College has started again, and I am pleased to say that it is going super terrific! Rooney and Kristen moved in a couple rooms down, and they are a great edition to our group of friends. I'm making a lot of new friends as well. I'm looking forward to loads of good times, and many new memories. Kristen put it best, "It's like a sleepover...every night!"
My classes aren't too terribly bad. I'm going to have to work my butt off in english (I have that with Kristen), and geography could be challenging as well, but math, spanish, IFL, and sociology should be pretty easy.
It's New Years Resolution time...
*Apply myself more to my schoolwork and have a positive attitude about it
*Not procrastinate quite as much
*Improve my self confidence
*Strengthen my relationship with God
*Become more involved in school activities/groups
*Get a job
*Workout at the gym at least 3 times a week
*Wear my heart out on my sleeve
*Live without regrets
*Stop worrying so much about "Mr. Right"...he'll come when he's supposed to
*Truly believe that everything happens for a reason
Hmm...kind of a lot of resolutions, but I know that I can do it. The Rascal Flatts song "When the Sand Runs Out" best explains my feelings on the New Year. It's a terrific song! Everyone should listen to it. It's about taking advantage of life, and doing things now while you can. Rascal Flatts' new c.d. is amazing! All of the songs are excellent.
Well, that's it for now. Time to meet Jenna and Rooney for breakfast! :)
