This Summer . . .
I did not go to California and visit my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
I did not fly to San Francisco.
I did not shop in Sacramento.
I did not visit and shop in Las Vegas, or take pictures of all the casinos and their attractions.
I did not go to Sauble Beach more than once.
I did not go swimming in my cousin's pool every week.
I did not go swimming in my cousin's pool at all.
I did not have any sleepovers.
I did not save my money and buy a lot of new clothes.
I did not ride my bike a ridiculous amount every day.
I did not skateboard for longer than the distance to and from Blockbuster.
I did not read an entire book.
I did not play my guitar for longer than a few minutes.
I did not stay up all night playing video games or watching movies.
I did not properly celebrate anyone's birthdays, or half birthdays.
I did not watch the stars at night.
Despite everything; I think this summer has been the best.
