What local economy?
I had to go to Roswell this morning for a doc appointment. I was annoyed that I had to leave town for my neurologist, but kind of excited that I would be in a larger town and have more opportunity to do some shopping that isn't available in Carlsbad, like for decent shoes.
The shoe store that had always provided in the past severely cut back on their stock. I didn't want a pair of prissy shoes, I didn't want a pair of sandals or tennis shoes, just a pair of casual shoes to wear to the office. I ended up spending $11 on miscellanous small items before leaving Roswell when I would have spent much more if there were the items I wanted available. Instead the internet will provide.
