Changes...
Yesterday was Bobda's last day at Hastings. The two of us plus two of his prior co-workers went up to La Fonda in Artesia and had a really nice meal and we had a lot of fun just chit-chatting and BSing. Both of them are also trying to get out of Hastings, Bobda was just the first to spring forth.
Only thing is.. I'd like to stay in contact with these two. Carlsbad sucks as a town. Jake's two quirky co-workers (prior) are the closest things we've come to friends in the year we've lived here. Sure, we've met other people, but they're so shut in and they never want to do anything.
