Look at me, I'm still alive!
First of all, thanks for the birthday wishes, y'all. Much appreciated.
It wasn't much of a birthday, mainly because I didn't expect to be feeling well, and so all celebrations have been pushed back a week.
Basically, I went into hospital for an operation on Thursday, having been told I'd be in overnight and off for two weeks, they kicked me out mid-afternoon and told me I could go back to work whenever I felt like it. But who feels like going back to work? Especially when it's taken five people to replace me on the project I was on. Seriously. So I'm working from home for a couple of days before heading back into the office on Wednesday.
Two more appointments and, if it isn't tempting fate *crosses fingers*, that might be it (until they start everything again!)
Other than that, been pootling along nicely. Taken up yoga and drawing again, and am equally crap at both of them (although art is less painful, and there's less falling over!)
I had a nice family lunch today and am slowly sinking into Sunday night sloth. All this updating business has been too much for me!
