Could the snow go now please? It's getting boring. As Steph said, it snowed again last night, and I had another 50+ minute walk to the train station this morning. For some reason, I was the only person I know who then didn't have any problems getting in. To compensate, I had a metric shit-load of aggravation getting home. Four buses, two trains, a forty minute walk and a bag of chips later I turned the corner of my road, only to be greeted by the first bus to run on our road for over a week. Sods law, I suppose. At least the chips were good.
And in the end, I travelled all that way to do . . . absolutely sod all. The project I'm waiting to manage has been delayed to next month - which by the time it goes live will mean ten weeks that I've spent without a project. Never ever wish to be that quiet at work. It's hell. Especially in weather like this when you're dumb enough to work every day, and they'll probably pay the people who 'couldn't' make it in.
I mean, I know there were a couple of days this week when we genuinely couldn't get into work, but isn't it funny how it's the people who are always the lazy ones who have the most trouble getting in to work at times like these.
