Prompt from a friend. Sort of Susan/Dr. Cockroach sort of. Actually I don't even know lol.

”Go to sleep, m’dear I’ll be done in but a moment,” the doctor had told her, still too distracted as he tinkered on with some sort of gizmo.
It was really sweet how he was brought out of his thoughts to notice her waiting for him. Except an hour passed since then and he was still messing around with who knows what.
(Well, he may have explained something or other but it all kinda just went over Susan’s head anyway.)
Carefully, Susan picked herself up and concentrated on moving quietly to the Doctor’s room. She was confident that her footsteps weren’t loud enough to disturb any of her friends from their sleep. She tip-toed a bit as she got closer to the doctor’s room.
Peeking into the room she saw Dr. Cockroach hunched over his work bench fiddling with some sort of tiny mechanism. His antennae twitched as he worked, his huge eyes never leaving what was in his hands. Susan sighed before crouching low and with difficulty opened the door wide enough for her to get inside.
The noise brought out the bug-man from his tinkering to look up.
“O-oh Susan! Oh dear, why aren’t you asleep?”
Susan just gave him a look.
“Susan?”
The giantess sighed. “It’s been an hour, Doc.”
Dr. Cockroach looked a bit guilty as he set down his work. “Ah right, time must’ve escaped me yet again.”
“Hmm.”
“You know how it is!” He brightened excitedly. “Inventing something! Making sure it works! The thrill and the evil it could do!”
He opened his mouth wide, ready to let out an evil laugh.Susan rolled her eyes, gently picking him up with one hand before he had a chance to. The doctor blinked up at her in surprise.
“You have to sleep.”
He huffed as he skillfully tried to climb out of her grip. “I’m a cockroach and cockroaches don’t sleep!”
Susan just held on to him, keeping him in her hand so he could not escape.
“You’re only part cockroach.”
He stopped squirming and looked up at her again.
“My dear…” His eyes were so big and a bit sad and she couldn’t stand them.
Susan sighed and interrupted him before he could get into it. “We’re going to bed.”
She started heading for her room.
“You can go back to evil work later but until then,” she entered her room. “You sleep.”
“Very well.”
She gently set him down. “Good.”
He skittered to the wall and climbed along it before dropping to lay on her cot.
“There we go.” She was in bed now too, lying on her side and facing him.
“Susan…I…”
She closed her eyes. “Goodnight Dr. Cockroach.”
Without a word she turned to her other side, her back to him.
She heard him sigh. “Goodnight.”
