Around noon on Thursday, Nikki made her way around Diagon Alley. First, like usual, she stopped by the Weasley's shop just to say 'hi' before popping back out onto the street. It made her feel alittle better about meeting up with Cormac, her exboyfriend. Though, it wasn't like she was really doing anything wrong

Cormac looked up from where he was leaning up against a pillar ouside of the cafe, shielding his eyes from the bright sun. He was dressed comfortably in old jeans and a baseball t-shirt.

A smirk played at his lips when his eyes focused on Nikki's form.

"Hello, love," he replied with a upward nod of his head.

"Have you been waiting long?" she asked, reajusting her sunglasses on top of her head.

He moved away from the pillar, opening the door to the cafe for Nikki to go inside.

"Just a few minutes," he said with a shrug. "Nothing too drastic. How are you, love?"

"I'm great," she told him, walking in but waiting for him to follow before going too far inside.

Nikki was much more confident since her and Cormac dated and it showed easily.

Cormac took a small moment to watch the girl as she wakled inside, grinning to himself happily. He stopped short, however, when they came to the maitre'd.

"Reservations for two," he said easily. "McLaggen."

The maitre'd nodded, knowing the McLaggens very well, and showed them the way to a small table in the front of the cafe.

Cormac held the seat open for Nikki, "Ladies first," he mused.

"Thank you," Nikki grinned, taking her seat gracefully. Cormac had always been such a gentleman.

"I haven't been here in months."

"Mum and Pop were here just the other day," he said, remembering a very great night in he had with a fun blond next door neighbor. Grinning to himself again, he sat down across from her.

"So what have you been up to?" he asked. "Your summer must have gotten loads better now that you're out on the town with me."

Something deep inside kept telling her to meantion that she was dating George but she just never did it. And Nikki wasn't sure why.

"Yes, you're definatly the highlight of my summer."

He chuckled to himself, taking a drink of the water that the waiter had set down when they had seated.

"That's what I like to hear," he said, winking at her playfully from across the table.

"Oh, I almost forgot!" Nikki grinned, reaching back into her bag and pulling out a spoon.

"I brought you something."

Cormac looked to Nikki, then down to the spoon, then back up at Nikki. This little pattern continued for about a minute before he began to laugh.

"This.. is why I keep you around," he said, running a hand through his hair. "You're adorable."

Nikki blushed slightly, trying to hide how much the compliment meant to her.

"I thought you might like it," she grinned.

He held the spoon in his hands, turning it over and about. It caught off the sun's reflection, and shined brightly.

"Now, whenever I see a spoon, I'm going to be thinking about you," he grinned.

"I hope you like being reminded of me so much during the day," Nikki told him, offering one of her sweetest smiles.

"Who else would I rather think of?" he asked, as the waiter came over to the table to ask for their drink order.

He looked over to Nikki. His motto was always ladies first.

She looked up at the waiter and paused for a moment. There were alot of different great drinks and Nikki was so terrible at deciding.

"Sweet raspberry iced tea, please with little ice."
