Kevin usually didn't do full school events. But he'd already been outside for the Arts Festival so it made perfect sense to head on over to the pitch.
He could have asked Reina to come with him, but he wasn't sure if there was really anything forming there or not. And he could have asked Belle, but she didn't seem to see him anymore the way he still saw her. So instead, he walked around solo wondering who he might run into.
Sophie really wasn't a party goer. So, she couldn't quite figure out just what it was that made her walk down to the pitch.
Biting her bottom lip lightly, she stuffed her hands in her pockets and walked up to where she presumed the party would be, hoping that she wouldn't regret her decision to go.
Kevin's eyes fell on a couple that didn't seem to care that they were snogging out in the open. Shaking his head he took a step backwards away from them.
"Sorry," he said turning to see who he'd inadvertanly bumped into.
"It's al-," Sophie began, looking up to see who it was who had bumped into her. She pushed some hair behind her ear. "..right," she finished when she realized that it was Kevin.
Parvati and Ron were there of course, and Vati was liking how the party was turning out.
They danced along with the rest of the crowd, having a good time. After a little while, Vati saw Nikki dancing and, grabbing Ron's hand, went over to her to say hello.
She had heard about the party and desided it might actually be fun to go. Now that she was dating Kyle, Mori thought it would be good to be more social with the rest of the school.
However, it was not going as well as she hoped.
But then she spotted a familiar face and headed towards it.
Jake and Elley danced at the side of the crowd. It wasn't very often that the two of them desided to share eachother but tonight they desided they should have fun.
They danced close - his hands on her hips and her arms drapped over his shoulders. The couple was having more than a great time. But Elley always felt that way when she was with him.
But when the girl looked over, she saw someone that didn't seem to be having the amazing time she was.
"Trav!" she called, trying to get his attention. "Whats the matter love?"
At the sound of Elley's voice, Travis whipped around. He knew that accent anywhere. And, sure enough, there she was, in the arms of her boyfriend and his best mate. This only made him look more glum.
"You haven't seen Natalie anywhere, have you?" he asked.
She had been acting so strange lately. Travis wanted to ask him what he did wrong, but she wouldn't let him get close enough.
Sammi smiled as she made her way to the party - trust Nikki to find a way to relieve all the stress of the week. As she drew closer she could hear the gentle beat of music and the buzz of conversation and laughter. It was a good feeling and this was the best ambiance of a party that she'd ever been to.
Hope you don't mind!green__inkMay 29 2006, 12:23:54 UTC
"Hey, Sammi," Nate greeted.
The still wasn't sure what he was doing at the party. Certainly, he wasn't having much fun and that was mostly because Maria wasn't there. If she had been happy then she would have went.
But Nate was there and trying to make the most of it. People broke up all the time. He couldn't dwell on it forever.
"How're things?" she asked cheerfully, digging her hands casually into the pockets of her jeans. She'd heard stuff about Nate and Maria not being so good, but she didn't want to pry at all. Nate was her friend and she didn't want to make him feel bad.
"Nice party," she added quietly, just in case he didn't want to answer her question. She looked up at the sky, a faintly amused look spreading across her face for no reason in particular.
"Things are...well, you know," he said, shrugging. Nate was normally a happy person, or looking around for the aliens, but lately he just didn't even want to do that. Aliens took a back seat to guilt.
"But I'm trying to have fun, for Nikki...and everyone."

Nikki was practically beaming. Parties were what she did and the girl wanted them to be perfect.

"Hi, Mori! Looking fabulous, as always," she complimented her.
"How's you?"

"Feeling fabulous," she mused, laughing a bit.

"Your fashion sense has always been the best, by the way. I don't think I've told you that. I've always loved your choice of outfits."

That was when it hit Elley that she was avoiding Travis. It was so obvious now. And Travis missed her, anybody could tell.
"Maybe she didn't come?"

It was hard for Travis to go so long without hanging out with Natalie. They were practically as close as Elley and Jake.
...Except totally different.
"Where else could she be?"

"Hey," she said to someone she recognised.
