Do you believe that by following a certain path (i.e. Shaman, healer, witch) a person could be mis-diagnosed with a mental illness (i.e. schizophrenia, psychosis, antisocial personality disorder, etc) or is it that the path they walk is simply their way of using what has been given to them in a more constructive manner.

This does makes sense, it just is curious to see when different people beleive that line between functional and nonfunctional goes away. It is also interesting to try and explain spiritual stuff to psych students who are doing the intake/original questioning the look of confustion is wonderful.

yes I guess so.

This confused me, as it didn't quite follw on from the first statment.

lets just say, evreything can be used in amore constructive manner. :)
