My lovely new friends
The best thing about cons I had heard was the new friends you make. I can honestly say now that is so true. Even more amusing was that two of the other VIPS that we bonded with very quickly just happened to be from Adelaide and even better, my side of town.
*waves hi to misskikkikat* who sniffed my bum on my second day of knowing her. I think that proves how comfortable we found each other to begin with. Then there were the awesomeness of the photogs girlies who kept all us in line (literally) while we waited. jk_rockin is nuts and brilliant and I look forward to getting to know her better.
anntarot has given me permission to link to two reports of hers. The first one here is the video of Karl signing her Rohan tattoo. She had the tatt done a few years ago and a space had been deliberately left for him on the design to sign his name. He actually signed it properly, not with the initials that he does for everyone else. Now she just has to wait until Thursday when she visits her tattoo artist and has it made permanent. In the second link, the first image is Karl looking directly at me and telling me off about taking the photo of him demonstrating how he had to eat while as cupid. :D
