Supanova Saturday - I have been renamed
According to Karl my name is not spelled nikki, it is niki. Twice he did that and the second time I didn't correct him, as he signed something I just wanted to show him but he then offered to sign it. So lovely and friendly and drives the volunteers a little batty because of how sociable he wants to be with the fans.
This will be short and hopefully a little sweet as it is currently 1.30am and we just got back from the Cocktail Party.
I have had a great time, my feet are sore, my cheeks even sorer from all the smiling I have done today.
So what happened today? The cliffs note version to follow...
1. James Marsters totally geeked out over the medical tricorder and wants one.
2. Renamed by Karl
3. Got told by Karl to "play that again" when I played the tricorder at him with DeForrest saying "I'm a Doctor, not a bricklayer". He then lent on my hand to listen to all the sayings on the tricorder.
3. Pouted at by Karl
4. Had my phaser stolen by Karl, well I offered it to him after he pouted at me. Resistance was futile. Photo was awesome though.
5. Told off by Karl.
6. This is my boot and that chair is where Karl decided to sit. I had horrible seats.
7. Karl telling bad joke against Aussies. :D
8. Karl just being, well, *guh* and listening to a fan question
9. Having our photo taken numerous times by random people. Finding a Nu!Spock and an awesome Xena to have photos with and then there were the Yeomans! So many sensational costumes. I made new friends! I know what Miss M Cricket looks like now :D

11. Random American seats ftw. At our little seating area at the cocktail party pretty much all the american guests in attendance came and sat there at some stage. They were all so lovely, especially Yuri (the voice of Ben 10), Tara and Liam who all stayed and chatted with us about serial killers, churches, pubs, wine, food, chocolate bilbies and how to shrink australian currency.
12. It is a real pity I don't drink alcohol as numerous guests were offering me alcohol from the bar, the drinks for them were on Supanova, we had to pay our own way.
13. Gareth stole clarrisani's walking stick and declared it to be a vibrator and that she was a "dirty bitch".
14. Jennifer Fallon is hilarious and lovely and will be forever known by me as "sparkly". She retaliated by calling me "shiny".
All in all a most amusing day and off to do it tomorrow.
All signatures have been got, a few friends will be very happy little campers and one extra photo with Karl tomorrow when I look slightly normal. :D
