What a wonderful insight to one of my favorite Janto scenes.

Also one of my a favorite photos of Ianto is when he is dancing with Jack and you can see the "little curl at the base of his neck". You are wonderful with all the little details us fangirls (okay older woman who should not be noticing these things) love. :)

I adore this scene and what you've done with it . . . I've always thought that Jack's speech is as close as he will ever get to telling Ianto he loves him in canon and that Ianto gets it, which is why he kisses him.

Oh Jack said it without words and Ianto wasn't quite ready to respond either, hence him turning it into a physical response. I love that scene and anyone who doesn't think it was Jack telling Ianto that he loves him, needs to rewatch the stunning acting from both Gareth and John in it. One take and they both nailed it.

Damn....that was one of the best written pieces of Janto smut that I've read in awhile (and I don't even want to call it smut because its honestly a whole level above being simply smut). You've captured and built on the emotional tension in that scene from TTLM and made it so much more. This is what other Janto writers should be aiming for.

Seriously, thank you so much for that. I started thinking about it last night and Jack just kept telling me to do it from his pov only. I think it gives it a bit more a poignancy

There has been a bit of discussion lately about the feminising of their relationship and that a lot of the current stories featuring the characters in terms of the sex seem to project this. I was trying really hard to make sure that this stayed true to sex between two men who don't like to communicate with words and are still tentative around each other.
