ok this weekend I was reading the novels and came across some interesting information that helped with putting together some background information in relation to Ianto. I'm sure Jack says in Fragments that Ianto worked for TW1 way longer than a few months. Didn't he say 2 years? Or 3?

I'll have to rewatch it but in the novels (which on torchwoodforum.co.uk it has been confirmed by one of the writers that they are checked by the officials in respect to details) it gives a start date for Ianto at T1.
