new years post for christine
so this is for christine...
i know i havent posted in like 6 months but i've been busy. i started grad school this fall and its been awesome. very challenging but in a good way. i love not having to do all of those required classes and just studying what i enjoy. i also dont miss all the dumb drama from undergrad. my life doesnt have to revolve around school anymore, its great. i've made lots of new friends, none from my classes ironically. well i know those people but just as far as we have class together and we chat now and then. i'll admit, most of the people in my program are foreign or nerdy or old. i've dated a few people here and there but nothing long term. i met a guy at Locos last week that might be promising. he keeps calling me and we're going up to blueridge this weekend. i'm moving on sunday to a new apartment. my old one got broken into last week while my friend lori and i were here. it was freaky. we got so lucky that when he saw us he ran and didnt fuck us up or anything.
so im looking forward to a new place and the new year and getting yet another degree before my sister finishes school :)
