Is today over yet...?
Is the quarter over yet? Is it time to go home yet? IS IT BED TIME YET??!!!
Ugh, have you ever felt so stressed and overwhelmed that you just shut down and do nothing? It's like "well, I have a project to finish, and report to type, and supplies to buy....SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD TIME FOR A NAP!!"
That's how I've been feeling since Monday. This is gonna be a long week, I know it, and it's not even finals yet. DX Someone shoot me.
The last big paper for my Intro to Gaming class is done, though. So, at least I won't have to worry about that. Now all that's left for that class is to study for the final test next week...and finish the designs for our game. I'll have to do the 4-5 illustrations to go along with them, too. Thankfully, one of the girls in our group, Sakura02, is gonna color them. So, that'll be one less thing for me to worry about. Honestly, if I had to color them too, I think I'd start crying.
Here are the inks for the pencil drawing in my last journal. The final drawing was painted with watercolors, but I don' think I'll be uploading that. lol It's been a while since I've used watercolors and, honestly, I'm a little rusty. DX At least the inks came out okay, and look, I DO draw backgrounds sometimes.
Remember how I said I had to redesign the characters for my video game assignment? Well, here they are~ I was fine with their first designs, but I do like these more . I'm not sure how much more memorable they are (I feel like I could have made their features more distinctive), but they have more detail, so that's definitely good.
Color ideas for the main dude. As soon as I put down the colors on the leftmost sketch,I thought they looked really...well, he's ready for yaoi let's just say that. Then again, every male character in every series is yaoi-ready when placed in the right situation. Pretty much everyone agreed. lol We all decided on the last color palette.
The girl. For her we decided on the skin tone in the second palette with the dress color from the first palette. Basically, combining the first two.
And the villain. Everyone liked the first palette better, but I need to make him uglier, which I thought was kinda funny. If I saw this man coming down the street, I'd turn and run.
And last but not least, a blue pouting Ed, because I can. This is the second colored Ed pic I've made where I make him blue. DX What is it with me and blue Eds? I think it's because there's not blue in his design. So, I feel the urge to make him blue.
