(no subject)
so i'm at work right now....my first sunday of this tri, 7-9:30....and i'm bored out of my mind. Jay was over last night so he brought me to work this morning because hes wonderful...so all my school books were in my car before I left and of course i forgot to grab them before we left...so i have nothing to do....but i guess its not so bad its only 2 1/2 hours i think i can stick it out. so hes picking me back up at 9:30, and maybe we'll go out and do something....:)
in other news...my birthday passed recently, last thurday to be exact, the big 20!! Jay asked me if i felt old...i said no...but i think i was lying...lol. i just can't believe that i'm an adult....its strange to think about it sometimes, life goes really fast...soon i'll be getting a permanent job, getting married, having cats, and then finally having babies!! good lord...slow down nikki :)
natalie and ashleigh took me to the cheesecake factory for my birthday. it was great, but they had the waiters and waitresses sing to me...which i SHOULD have expected, but it still surprised me...(just the tiniest bit lol) They got me a WHOLE bunch of new cow stuff! a cow light, a new stuffed cow, a cow in a can....yep you heard right, and a little cow box. my friends are the greatest!! i love them to death!!
OH OH OH!! natalie got a hamster!! AND we got her for free!! apparently all petsmarts have a licence stating that they can ONLY sell males or females. the one we went to only sells males, but they got a female in their shipment by mistake so they can't legally sell them so we got her for FREE! shes beautiful, shes black and white so we named her vaca, which is COW in spanish. shes a feisty little devil, but shes a cutie :)
overall i would say things are going well, and I hope they stay that way :-)
