Update
Im sorry I haven't posted in a while. My life, like it does has for the last 2 months exploded with activity.
First an update on the weight loss:
Thanks Cat for emailing me during this time of me not posting. To be honest I havn't been to a weight whatchers meeting since I moved into my house because of general bussiness and lack of money.
I will be going again next week wednesday and update again once I've wieghed. Im not sure how this will go because I havent been eating very well, but I have been going to the gym 3 - 4 times a week, and even if I havent lost much weight, Ive definately toned upa bit Ive noticed.
Now an update on life:
Ive been through a roller coaster at work with my anual pay/performance review. Last year I had my review in July because that is the month I joined First Assistance. However I have know very painstakingly learned that aparently, by law they only have to give me a review from my change of role in the company. (Ie September 29th when I was promoted to a MSC)
Now this is all well and good but when you come in on your day off for your scheduled review and then get told your manager forgot about it and have to wait two weeks for the actual review all the while being promised that they will back pay me to my original date and then finally getting the review (11% pay increase is awesome) and then your manager promises you the next pay day to get that new pay rate and the back pay a month later and then when the pay day comes around and you find out that the GM of the company and the HR manager has decided that they will not pay you until Septmeber the 29th, it hacks you off, or at least its hacked me off. (Sorry about the rambled sentence of doom)
Ive been in quite a few meetings now arguiing about teh above but to no avail. SO even though Im happy that Ive been given an 11% pay increase, Im feeling very put out by the whole ordeal and broken promises.
