I know I said I'm not going to use this journal much any more, but considering recent legislative developments in Washington state, I feel as though I need to write this down to gather my thoughts and, perhaps, inform others. I believe in the Right to Vote.

However.

I also believe that if it had been left up to the citizenry, some states in this nation would STILL be outlawing interracial marriage and who knows how long it would have taken for women to even be allowed to vote in the first place.
