What in August looked to be a very boring semester has turned out to be one of the most promising and greatest. Just think what it would have been like if Eugene, Lauren were still around, and if I saw 2 or 3 more Spanish classmates on a regular basis, but most of them are at Universities now

MUSIC HISTORY: no social updates here, Carlos dropped (I presume), I have not talked to Sophie ever, besides a "hi" at the BART station, and I don't talk to Ruben or Brian here

BASKETBALL: This has been turning a lot better. My skills have improved enough that I'm not completely unreliable, but I'm still way too inaccurate. I made a 3 pointer during an actual scrimmage two weeks ago which was a great feeling (of course I was very humble about it) but most baskets I make are layups.

P.E.: I don't talk to anybody here, but it's interesting when people I know from other classes show up to exercise, even if I don't talk to them.

CHOIR: This is as mentioned the highlight of the Monday and Wednesday sessions. There are a lot of people here I can name that I enjoy being around. I guess the top people who talk to me often are Marc and Renee. Renee apparently took Choir in the past, but I do not recognize her, but she knew Marc, and despite a 20+ year age gap, they are apparently going out. Thus, Marc being the main person I talk to, Renee talks to me by association. Ruben, Tony, and Tommy are always cool to talk to as well. Laura seems to have left again, she did the same thing around the same time last semester. It's troubling.

VOICE (MW): Nothing new here, I think I already mentioned talking to Sara and Marie here and I still do. I always like singing here though.

GEOGRAPHY: Suddenly I've been forced to socailize in this class! Oh noes! We've been assigned groups to do a group project. Our group chose... Global Warming, neato. I wasn't grouped with any friends or anybody I wanted to be grouped with, but I think those I am paired with now will be competent!

VOICE (TTH): I don't know if I mentioned this, but a few weeks ago a classmate of mine had a Stroke, and although she has "survived", she is not in a condition where I can imagine her coming back anytime soon. Although many of my classmates have visited her, I have not. I do feel like I should though.

A lot of older folks around here, so similar to Spanish class in the Fall 07/Spring 08/Summer 08 semesters, I get a lot of conversations with older people about my youth and potential.

JAZZ PIANO: I don't socialize here much anymore

JAZZ COMBOS: I haven't talked to Leslie in a few weeks (but I have seen her) and I haven't talked to her since I started having dreams about her. (Finally, some drama!) This is a real issue for me and I'm debating my morals (she's 4.5 years younger than me) and what I really want. (Because she's really nice and adorable) Likely if I do talk to her I will try and weave around words that resemble asking her for a walk or coffee or something.

If not, there's another girl I'm having an identical situation with, and she's only 1.5 years younger than me. It really comes down to who I see and ask out first. I don't like one over the other. Analisa is sexier and less shy, but Leslie has similar interests/personality traits and is cuter.

I see Analisa, a former Spanish 2B classmate like Leslie, on some Monday and Wednesdays but I haven't seen her since the 20th. I intend to ask her if she wants to hang out the next time I see her, but I semi-choked that day (Asked if she was around on Tuesday and Thursdays. She said no, so I couldn't continue with the advancement, but I should have anyway) so there's no guarantee I'll really get the confidence to do it.

They're my two love interests right now, despite some interesting events in...

PSYCHOLOGY: Some people have been testing my patience with them talking too much in class, but I have to admit, some of those girls are rather attractive. This conflict reached it's peak on the 23rd, when we did a class activity where each student had to give their name and an interesting fact about themselves. (The object was that the next person must recite ALL of the previous student's names and fact) I decided to say that I have sang in a choir for 3 years. I had guessed that if I said that, this one particular girl, Ella, who seems to find herself attracted to any guy in the class at one point or another (this is because of a breakup that happened earlier, gossip!!!), may have some reaction to what I said. Sure enough, what happened was very awkward for me, as you would expect. She started making comments like "Oh I'd like to hear that." and "Oh my God! Sing for me!" while smiling at me A LOT. It was awesome at the same time. But that was then, we haven't talked at all since then, aside from waving goodbye when we saw eachother in the parking garage nearby. I don't consider her a love interest but she is smokin'. There are other girls I'd like to meet in that class as well, and have had minimal conversation with halfway in the semester. This despite promising myself that I'd introduce myself to them in September :/

GUITAR: This class is emptying out fast, some of my friends have left (said this already) and I don't talk too much to those who remain. I still look forward to that Pizza Party! Stay tuned for plans on another Youtube video.

3D ANIMATION: Hardly any socializing here. There are some people who I see in the computer labs at time and may ask them for help or vice versa, but that's all... this is actually my least favorite class mainly because it's harder than I thought (but I don't want to quit on 3D Animation nonetheless), Thursday nights from 7PM-10PM is inconvienient, and I have to do HW at the school because I don't have Cinema 4D (not that I can't just pirate it I guess), but the time I chose to go to school allowed me to see Analisa, so I have to be thankful to the Gods of fate that I took this class!

Till November...

OTHER STUFF

- On October 8th I developed a nasty cold that although subsided for the most part by the 15th, still never went away completely as my nose was stuffy for a good while. Unfortunately last Saturday it got aggravated and I wound up with Part 2 of the nasty cold for the next 3 days. I started to feel better, and right now my stuffy nose is close to being gone, but as a result my hearing has started to fade. I'm really worried about this, but it's not gone enough to affect listening to music or anything fun, but it has affected my singing. I should see a doctor...

- CONCERTS: November 26th - The Decemberists and December 11th - Not So Silent Night (The Killers, Death Cab, Franz Ferdinand, Bloc Party, Jack's Mannequin) are two I'm eyeing. I don't have a ticket to either, and I believe the Decemberists has either sold out or only crappy seats are available. In addition, BOTH will require me to skip a class (Guitar and 3D Animation respectively), and the latter may occur during my last 3D animation class, so I have to plan this carefully. Obviously with the former show I will have to shop Craigslist or Decemberists MBs for Floor/Lower Balcony tickets or settle for an upper level seat, and I may just have to settle for skipping Bloc Party and Jack's Mannequin at NSSN, neither of whom I care for anyway.

- Heartbreaker this morning, The Warriors were selling $6 tickets to two games next week, and because of my slow internet I kept getting This Page Cannot Be Displayed errors, even when it looked like I had a ticket, I got screwed and eventually they ran out before I can get one. This will be hard to get over, because if I want to go to a game, I will have to pay at least $40 now, which is a loss of $34 that I will not stomach easily when that happens. Worse yet, one of those games occured during a night off (Wednesday), and I believe that game is radio-only and my dad's apartment doesn't have TV service anyway. Totally owned. :/

The Warriors are off to an 0-2 start... but my Sharks are off to a 9-2-0 start :D

- Didn't do a single thing for Halloween, sigh...but I am going to a birthday party tommorow.

- THE CURE's 4:13 DREAM CAME OUT ON TUESDAY. And it is great. Highlights are "Underneath the Stars", "Switch" and "It's Over". Totally recommend downloading the album. Looking forward to Part 2 next April :D
