Back from the Grave....

I'm on just long enough to give an update.

I gotta say, SCAD's a great place to be, even with it's little quirks and whatnot. Savannah's a beautiful city located next to a paper mill (which stinks to high heaven), but that doesn't detract from the overall beauty. River Street is by far one of the most beautiful views I've seen in a long time.

The school is wonderful, even though I've had some serious hiccups coming here. Firstly, my dorm was without internet for a week+. This was because the building I'm in only now houses 3 people per room, and they had to increase the server strength or something. OK, that's valid. Why did it take over a week? Extenuating circumstances.

What circumstances you ask? A drive by.

I shit you not. On my first day of classes, the power mysteriously went out. A transformer apprently exploded. Upon further investigation, I found out that these two guys had shot another guy on the sidewalk, then drove off and hit a cyclist, and ran into the telephone pole that connected my block to the power grid, cutting out our power.

So yeah. That's what happened first day of classes.

Now, for the rest of the stuff that's going on.

Firstly, I love Erin Prazan. :D

Secondly, I've made tons of friends (in fact, I'm rarely in my dorm at all, I'm usually too busy crashing their's and playing video games with them. There's the room down the hall from me, which consists of a guy from Texas (black guy), a guy from Chigago, and a guy from Mexico. My OTHER hang out is across the building and up a floor, where I hang out with Erin's friends Marcus (a black guy from Atlanta), Andrew (a half-chinese, half white kid from North Carolina), and Jared (a Korean kid from New Hampshire).

These kids are all. awesome.

Just to tell you, you guys haven't played Smash Brothers right 'til you've had me and Marcus doing commentary. Trust me, we'll videotape it and I'll post it on youtube or something.
