Thanks! The worst is over. Now I just get to schlep around the apartment feeling sorry for myself and gently poking my teeth with my tongue. Oh, and try to swallow soup without spilling it down my shirt.
WHOA, that is indeed a tough call. Having spent years with both (I have about seven or eight teeth that don't have fillings, several of them more than one), I'd have to go with the dental torture, partly for the visceral ouchiness of it and partly because, as tinpanalley pointed out, it's largely inevitable: you can't go to another country to escape it, or wait exactly 18 days to see if it will go away.
You know, maybe, despite its soothing qualities, PowerFlow wouldn't be the best idea for you today? What with the pain and the anasthesia that's unlikely to wear off by mid-afternoon? (Would you rather I just bring you ice cream and let you be miserable?)
Oh, you're so good to me. I'm gaining feeling in my upper lip, allowing me to partake of the Soup At Hand. It's galling to eat it on a day when I'm actually home and not stuck at school, but there you go. I'm disappointed we're missing out on the PowerFlow and the State Street thing. I don't yet have a topic for my paper, although last night I was rereading the Robins, oddly enough. Great minds!
Ooh, and I just got an email from Wendy about possibly visiting this weekend. I may need to take a last-minute raincheck on our shopping day.
Dude, I don't even have to think real hard about this one. #2 all the way. Dental work is torture yes, but temporary. Bush could make me want to hotspork my eyes out for years more....*shudder*
Ooh, now I'm shuddering about both of them. I should have thought twice before posting this and seeing it pop up repeatedly in comment notifications. The nightmare continues!
I can only hope that at least #2 will cease next month. Please, Universe, please.
I have no drugs! None! I swallowed four Tylenol, but they are woefully underperforming. Makes me want to break out the rum and Coke! Probably wouldn't bode well for my paper, however.

They are both unbelievably vile! But, I'm assuming the dental torture is inevitable, so good luck!
