Couch, Circuits, Columbus, and Carolina
Quite glad I got my butt to Kroger last night. The snow is pretty falling as it is, but only because I'm cozy on my couch. Working From Home for the win. I'm also glad I forced myself to go down to the cellar and flip the circuit breaker again (I accidentally used my microwave at the same time as my toaster oven last week and hadn't been able to brave the cellar yet). This tells you how much I hate doing dishes, because the ability to run my dishwasher is what finally pushed me over the edge.
Had a great time in Columbus this weekend. dtiernan and I were able to leave Cinci early and beat some of the weather, which was a relief. Beautiful, giant snowflakes all over the place up there. I was nervous about leaving the hotel for dinner Friday and Saturday, but it turned out to be the right thing to do. People who didn't move their cars all weekend found themselves plowed in on Sunday when they tried to go home. Of course, my guy helped push them out. He's a keeper.
I'm going to South Carolina this weekend! Isn't that awesome?! It's just what I need right now, a trip with my mom and sitting by an ocean. Even if I have to sit by the ocean in a sweatshirt, the point is that I'm sitting by the ocean.
