New Financial Site
Hey, there's a new PayPal in town. I heard about it on one of my personal finance blogs (PaidForItTwice), and I Googled around after, checking on it. By all accounts, it appears legit, and it's FDIC insured. It's a company that provides secure exchange of money between merchants and customers, without the big fees that PayPal and the like charge you.
The cool thing is that if you sign up by April 15th, you get $25 (... and I get a referral $10 for the Moving Fund *g*).
They credited my account immediately. Due to the Patriot Act, they are required to request your DOB and SSN before opening any financial account for you. Be ready for that - if you're not comfortable, then it's not the site for you. I thought it about it, researched, and decided to take the risk.
