Paper Glimpses
9:31 pm - 2 pages down and I'm not even breaking a sweat. In fact, I'm taking a Pop-Tart break in celebration of the 10% mark.
9:41pm - rm_renfield is making COOKIES so I am totally waiting until then for my snack break. Way better than Pop-Tart.
10:01pm - I never realized how frequently the contestants were referred to as "girls" instead of "women." It sounds so strange to call them women in my paper. That's ... probably not a good sign, feminism-wise.
10:14pm - 3 pages, 3 pages, go me, it's my birthday.
11:27pm - Page 5. Hitting a wall. Had yummy cookies awhile ago. Tired. Neck hurts. Apparently am saving all extraneous words for paper.
11:48pm - Page 6. ::weakly:: Going off in search of caffeine. This is way too early for the wall.
12:34am - Page 7. I'm too old for this.
12:30am - Hee. I have a section in my outline called "Kiss Tyra's Fat Ass." It's really weird to call her "Banks" in this paper, all official-like. Banks and Dickinson and Barker. I drew the line at "Alexander," though, and just went with "aka 'Ms. J'".
1:29am - Whew. Just spent the last ten minutes dancing wildly in my living room to Aretha's "Think" and Basement Jaxx's "Do Your Thing" (featured in the best Daily Show vid ever)
No one can watch that sitting down calmly. Took a couple gulps of Diet Coke, grabbed a chocolate truffle from my emergency stash, and headed back up here. I've finished the Toccara section, on to Cassie and her eating disorder. Page 8, by the way, although I did transcribe a conversation in there.
