State of Me

I've been working out consistently for a month now, back in my groove after an extensive Christmas "break."  Another half hour on the elliptical today, although I forgot my towel so the handlebars got all sweaty.  That'll teach me to put off putting away my laundry.  Did 85 on the bench, 8.5 on leg curl, 8 each on rowing machine and lat pulldown, 65 on tricep pushdown, 50 on bicep curl, and 25 on dumbbell shoulder press.  I think I'm going to switch to a new ab exercise, though.  I've been doing bicycle crunches and they're getting boring (I'm up to three sets of 50, though, which is neat).

I'm glad I looked over the syllabus for my Gender in the Media class this week - I'm presenting tomorrow!  Not that I couldn't have B.S.-ed a few discussion questions, but I wasn't even going to do the reading at all, which could have proven awkward.  Then again, there are four readings for tomorrow, plus the two from last week that we didn't get to, so it's highly doubtful I'll be called upon to do anything.

I think the Cold-Eez is helping.  I've been taking it every day and my cold seems to be waning without ever becoming horrific.  I've got a stuffy nose and a nasty-sounding cough, but it doesn't actually hurt.  Which is only fair, since I just did the sick thing last month.
