My iPod is somehow stuck on "TV Out", even though it insists it is not. None of my video files show up under their menus, although they do show up in my list of songs. When I play them, the screen looks like it does for audio files, with the first frame of the video in place of album art. These are apparently the symptoms of having "TV Out" set to "on", but it's not. I've checked and rechecked and purposely set "TV Out" on, then off, then on, then off. I've done a soft reset of the iPod. I've plugged it into iTunes and made sure I have all the updated software and firmware. I am out of ideas.
Other than that, I am feeling pretty good today. I braved the snow and drove to the gym anyway this morning, and was rewarded with a strong workout and another few people congratulating me on coming back, and mentioning that So-and-So had been wondering where I was. It's lovely to have people notice and care when you're gone. One of the many things I love about my little gym.
I've got the workout bug again, which is good. I knew I just had to get back into that frame of mind. Now I'm looking forward to workouts, looking forward to muscles and progress and feeling proud of myself and just plain using my body for more than sitting at a desk. I still wish I didn't have to teach at 11:00 on Wednesdays, though. I hate feeling rushed.
I could NOT believe what I saw a guy do at the gym today. He finished boxing and then rinsed his cup in the water fountain, and I am not talking about the kind of cup you drink out of. EW GROSS A THOUSAND TIMES GROSS. What planet was he born on? The bathroom was freaking 10 feet away. Dude, do you think I want your crotch sweat two inches from my nose when I get a drink of water? Asshat. I told the guy who works there about it and asked him to talk to this guy.
