Boxing and Christmas (but not Boxing Day)

-- Internet access at home has gone again.  Very sporadic, cruel sort of connection through supposed city wifi.  While I typed that last sentence, I was connected and disconnected twice.  We'll see if I get to post this.

-- In pain again. My weekly pain, called "Boxing Class".  Although I didn't lift weights all week, my thighs have still not forgiven me for last week.  I was fine during the start of class, but the minute I started doing dips again, my leg rebelled.  Stupid right leg.  It's literally a crippling kind of thing, making me useless for anything but the speed bag (which I am ROCKING, by the way - I'm working on switching between left and right hands without losing a beat). I've got some good feedback to work on for next time.  I can see that when I do what she tells me, I'm a lot more powerful.  I just can't seem to DO it without concentrating extremely hard on it, which of course screws up the rest of my form.  I get too impatient with myself in there, too.  I know I'm better than that, but I don't show it.

-- Despite what may appear to be negative posts, I really do love this class, and I'm bummed that there's only going to be one more.

-- I put up the Christmas tree this week, strung the lights, hung the ornaments, added tinsel, blew out a string of lights, carefully unwound it from beneath the tinsel and ornaments, saw it go on again halfway through, cursed it, removed it anyway, and have yet to finish replacing it.  But the point is, they were up.  I've also wrapped some gifts, but I need to get out and buy some more supplies.  My wrapping center is so cute!!  I need to take a pic and post it, once I've got Internet again.

-- I also need to post the pics of last weekend before the Inferno.  No, he has not called, and I am resolved not to keep dwelling on it.  Perhaps he's busy, perhaps he's not interested, I'm okay with that.  Honest.  Well, that's the plan, anyway.

-- Yup, still in pain.

-- My Christmas shopping has been going swimmingly.  Another of my mom's gifts arrived in the mail today, and I spent a while tonight playing with it before wrapping it (I have to test it, you see).  I may need to test it for another few days, in fact.

-- I'm going to send out a call for holiday card addresses soon.  Be ready.
