Ha! I win at HITG!!
That was totally the guy who played "Lucky" in S1. I wonder why they're re-using him like that? The facial hair helped make him look different, but I could still see it was him.
Overall, very pleased with the VM premiere. Some classic moments, especially between Veronica and Keith, and that biting humor we all love. Veronica's powers of deduction certain seemed to leap ahead superhumanly near the end there, but still a satisfying episode. All it needed was a little Weevil, IMHO.
Question, though:
Why wasn't Logan at the Unwashed performance? Did Veronica invite him? Why would he refuse - he's certainly not busy with classes, and doesn't seem to be friendly with anyone else. If she didn't invite him, why? Does she want to keep him separate from other parts of her life? Embarassed by him? Worried about losing him to Parker, as

Gilmore Girls was a good one, relatively speaking (certainly doesn't live up to earlier seasons, but nothing has lately). Considering where they stood at the end of the last episode, they pretty much did everything I'd ask for to fix it in this episode. Sucking me back in, damn it.
I don't know how I feel about the grocery store conversation. Poor Luke. Much as I adore the Luke/Lorelai, I kind of agree with him here. He deserves someone who'll be as devoted to him as he was to Lorelai. She wanted to love him. She loved the idea that he loved her. She loved the thought of being married and having a normal life. She thought he was a wonderful guy. But I never saw the passion in her, that primal draw, toward Luke that I saw in her toward Christopher. In many ways, it was the same problem she had with Max. She fools herself into thinking that this time, she's changed. I am NOT saying she should be with Chris - definitely not saying that. Just that it shows something she's missing with Max and Luke.
I only watched last night because I was going to watch VM anyway, and now they're trying to lure me back. Then again, if
that Christopher crap
is really happening next week, I may have to vomit.
