Lacan Don't Make for the Good English

Okay.

You know how you can get Google to translate a site into English? It's kind of funny, right, to see what pops up? Ha ha, we say, such funny English.

It's less funny when you're trying to read Lacan and it feels like Google has also translated this particular version.

I know the words. I can define them. They're just not ... right, in this order. And I'm only on the first page!

I mean, WTF?

Writing is distinguished by a prevalence of the text in the sense that this factor of discourse will assume in this essay a factor that makes possible the kind of tightening up that I like in order to leave the reader no other way out than the way in, which I prefer to be difficult. In that sense, then, this will not be writing.
