sundown begins Yom Hashoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day)
it's been 60 years since the end of the Holocaust. i am so lucky that my family immigrated before WW2. so lucky.
53% of high school students do not know what/when the Holocaust was. that absolutely disgusts me.
never forget.
educate people.
it's the only way to prevent such horrible things from ever happening again.
unfortunately there's a holocaust going on as we speak in the republic of the Sudan.
this is one of the only public entries i will ever post.
this is too important of a subject to make this entry not for the public to view.
“The wrongs which we seek to condemn and punish have been so calculated, so malignant, and so devastating, that civilization cannot tolerate their being ignored, because it cannot survive their being repeated.”
-Justice Robert Jackson, Chief U.S. Counsel to the International Military Tribunal, Nuremberg, Germany, November 21, 1945
