This week has had its ups and downs. On the good side, we only had 3 days of school this week! Monday was a snow day. So me and "the girls" went to the mall. We saw "The Wedding Date". All in all, it was fun. The concert Tuesday night was cancelled. Which was good, because Symphony Band was not prepared at all. Yesterday I got a new cell phone! Yay! It's awesome. Gimme a call (I'd love to hear from you!) at 493-1667.
The bad part about this week has been the actual school part :(. We had a Tuesday schedule when we came back from the snow day and I didn't have that homework done. Ugh. I still haven't finished my History homework! I'm becoming a *gasp* slacker this year! I wait until the mornings to do my homework and BS my way through tests. I happen to be a good BSer, but I have to start actually doing my work or I will crash and burn :(.
Yay, four day weekend! A whole bunch of people said I should have a sleepover this weekend. Who could come, if I do? Any ideas about what we could do? I have Friday night free but I have Tech Paint Day at 10 AM on Saturday morning (because I'm a nice person). I'm babysitting on Saturday night, but Sunday night is open too. Whenever you guys wanna, just let me know. If anyone wants to make any other plans this weekend (I'll be bored anyway) just gimme a call or IM me or whatever! :).
Well Robin rambled about being a bitch (you're NOT!, btw!!), so I'm gonna ramble about just the opposite. I am too nice. It sounds like it's not such a bad thing, but it is. My whole reputation is built on being a "miss smarty pants/goody two-shoes", but I'm getting sick of it. It's been holding me back more than anything. I'm always nice to everyone, and then I'm just hurt when when they don't return the favor (i.e. My brother's attitude toward all the favors I do for him). Also, when I go out of my way to give people rides they shouldn't insult my driving *ahem* (but that's not as bad though). I doubt I'll stop being nice anytime soon, but these things have just been on my mind lately.
I guess I'm going to State Solo and Ensemble, by the way. It'll be fun (it's at CMU), but it's on the same day as Science Olympiad and closing night of "The Wizard of Oz". That will be a busy day! Plus I get to march in the St. Patrick's Parade the next day.
