(no subject)
so i haven't updated for a while... it's hard to get on computers here (and the keyboards suck!)
things are going really well; my french is improving a lot, though i'll NEVER be fluent. i like my conversation class a lot, and architecture is really boring. there's not a lot to do in dijon during the day unless you want to spend lots of money shopping or eating, so lately i've been going for walks now that the weather is finally nice (the entire first week was 40 and rainy)
i went to switzerland last weekend and went skydiving in the alps. it was really fucking sweet (and really really expensive)
i get to see my benefits tomorrow!! my train leaves dijon at 5:30AM........which sucks ass, but whatever. i'll be skipping my first two classes EVER on monday so that i don't have to leave london on saturday afternoon, which would blow.
the weekend after is barcelona with liesl, caryn, and rita, and i'm really excited!! :) then one more weekend until the family comes to paris for a week (and then maybe switzerland for a day or two?)
