A love story about an insecure boy/man who "saved" a girl in a train. He has been single all his life, in the safety of work, computers, and living alone. Now, he faces the desire to be with someone and his inability to voice that desire. With the help of his fellow "friends" on IRC, he steps out of his past and into his future.
How many of us have ever met someone on the train, on the street, in a cafe and lost that chance to speak up to the other person we wanted? I know I've more than once hid behind a book or look away even though my heart wanted the opposite. In this movie, I felt the "Train Man"'s frustration, depression, self-contempt as my own. I hoped I will have the courage to step out of my own cage next time.
