Sequel troubles...
Aw, jeez, think I broke my characters. Well, actually as I was setting up to write this post I have a glimmer of how to put my humpty dumpty of a story back together again, but as I said the story and the characters have taken a life of its own and if I'm not careful I won't be able to get them all back on the Enterprise... I wrote scene that disturbed me, but I'd be copping out if I had the
(minor spoiler alert since I've hinted heavily already)
rape scene as I've written it - I can't decide - have it happen off screen and avoid scaring readers and making the rape al the more vivid and hard to believe McCoy can bounce back from it or just go with what happened and still try hard to get he boys to work it out? Bad story - bad characters! Who told you to go and do that?? Those damn Cardies. :) But I guess it just means I'll have to abandon my happy ever after endings. Well, not completely, I never can stand a story without at leasta hope in he future things wll work out, I suppose that's okay. I think I can manage it. Hmm, writing out my frustrations is really helping, I think I'm solving it... Thanks for just listening/reading. :)
And by the way, my parents 33rd anniversary tonight - may they have many more. :)
