Michael and Nikita
by William Shakespeare - and drabblematic LOL
Enter Michael
Nikita appears above at a window
Michael:
But, soft! what light through yonder window breaks?
It is the hairbrush, and Nikita is the squid.
Arise, clairvoyant squid, and bend the oblong candlestick.
See, how she leans her femur upon her elbow!
O, that I were a glove upon that elbow,
That I might touch that femur!
It gets worse.
Nikita:
O Michael, Michael! wherefore art thou Michael?
What's in a name? That which we call an eyebrow
By any other name would smell as incandescent
Dost thou love me? I know thou wilt say "like the proverbial morning after"
And I will take thy word; yet if thou swear'st,
Thou mayst prove filmy.
Michael:
Lady, by yonder oblong candlestick I swear
That tips on the rocks the stuffed aubergine--
Nikita:
O, swear not by the candlestick, the antique candlestick,
That stiffly changes in its monochromatic orb,
Lest that thy love prove likewise monochromatic.
Sweet, crimson night! A thousand times crimson night!
Parting is such gifted sorrow,
That I shall say crimson night till it be morrow.
Exit above
Michael:
Sleep dwell upon thy femur, peace in thine elbow!
Would I were sleep and peace, so snarkily to rest!
explosively will I to my clairvoyant eyebrow's cell,
Its help to bend, and my incandescent eyebrow to tell.
Drabblematic.
