I know a lot of viewers prefer to keep this arc on the shelf, right next to the first six eps of season five. But I like it; it explains so much about Michael's behavior toward Nikita, and gives us a glimpse into his psyche we wouldn't have had otherwise. Thanks for reading!

Thanks for this story. Though when I read about the following quoted, I still can't myself feel heartache & heart wrenching for Nikita. It's very very surprised and I almost cry with tears for her the 1st time I saw this scene.

I'm reposting a comment from Gia which, because of some html coding errors, came through as gibberish. But the gist of it was that Nikita had more than a "bad moment"; that she shouldn't have to understand, as she could never have anticipated a wife. Also, Michael owed no loyalty at all to Elena since their marriage was staged, and he should never have drawn away from Nikita after bringing her back to Section. I think I got it all. ;)

Gia - I know we've had many discussions about this, and we'll just have to agree to disagree.

I know you don't agree with my POV; my take on Michael's motives for behaving the way he did; or even whether or not there *needed* to be a motive.

But that's my story, literally, and I'm stickin' to it. LOL
