It's time for a change!!!!!!!!!!

For the past 6 months or so, I have felt apathetic about the Den of Angels forum. Aside from my recent personal problems (the ED order), I just felt like DoA wasn't fulfilling my need for a bjd online community anymore. I don't mind the size of the forum, but the bloat was definitely a problem. With the constant server problems, it became increasingly frustrating to help the other members in my role as a DoA moderator.
I noticed that many people expressed their dissatisfaction with DoA, from the rules, server performance and the lack of many things they were looking for in an online community. They just hated the restrictive environment.
So, an idea was formed among former DoA moderators of starting from scratch and providing an avenue that's tailored towards these needs that bjd owners are looking for.
I would like to introduce to you:
Resinality is bjd site and community dedicated to all things bjd. We want to provide a "one-stop-site" with all the information on bjds and a place for bjd enthusiasts and owners can feel at home. Our goal is creating a "community".
We have set up Resinality to be 18+ and older. We are hoping that this will allow the forum to be more open to mature/adult discussion and content.
Key points about Resinality:
18+ only
-Because we are 18+, we are mean mature audience. We feel that under-18s are well-catered for in many other forums, and so made the decision to put a restriction on ours.
Usergroups!
- We have set up a usergroup forum where anyone, with 10 other members, can have their own usergroup created (so long as it fits within the usergroup guidelines). This means your group gets their OWN subforum to make it easier for everyone to communicate. These are great for Meetup groups, specific interests (ABJD doll art) to general interests like OT Discussion and OT Dolls. Yes, we are allowing OT on our forum!
Tags
-Because of the limitation of Vbulletin search, we have implemented the Tags plugin. From now on, when you create a new thread, you are required to enter tags or keywords about your thread subject. At the bottom of every subforum and on the main portal page, you will see a list of tags used. This will make it much more easier to find those 2-3 letter named dolls such as Ri or El! While we have the regular VBulletin search enabled, we feel the Tags plugin will come in more handy for everyone.

-We feel strongly about having the main page of the website display information for all those who are interested in bjds. This page will give you all the latest announcements, latest news threads (pulled from our News subforum), most recent threads (pulled from all over the forum), the Tag cloud (which shows the most popular tags in bold), RSS feeds from Yahoo Japan's bjd categories & ebay's Dollfie category, latest Wiki articles (more on that!) and much more.
BJD Wiki
-We are very excited about this as it is built into the VBulletin forum! We now can host a bjd wiki! Creating entries for the wiki is pretty much the same as creating a thread. The wiki uses the same VBulletin code that you are already familiar with. There are some other things that are a little different so please check out "how to add an article" before you start contributing to the wiki. All members are allowed to contribute to the wiki after they have reached 40 posts.
Themes
-We have uploaded several themes! We believe in offering a variety of themes instead of forcing members to use just one!
Marketplace
-We have created a small Marketplace for now as it will expand as we grow. We really would like everyone's input about the Marketplace and how we can make it a much more safe environment for everyone.
24/7 Tech support
-In order to give our members the best service, we have gone with paid hosting. We feel this is the best way in order to get 24/7 tech support for any server problems we will face. We will definitely be open tobandwidth donations in the future.
Profile page
-To make things more fun, we've jazzed up the member profile page!
Member signatures
-We have alloted member signatures with 500px size space! You are free to fill up that entire space with one big banner or banner/text. To make things even better, we have enabled a plugin that will automatically resize your signature to fit within that space so no "your sig is too big" rules anymore!
And last but not least, COMMUNITY! We want to bring back the feeling of a real community to bjd owners! We encourage more open dialogue and chat between members. We want this place to be more than just getting your info on the lastest bjd news and buying/selling your bjd items.
