[Round #04] Information

This post contains all the information you need to enter your icons.

Don't forget! Try to comment on everyone's entries and leave them positive feedback!
RULES

• To participate in this round, you must be listed here.
  
• You should have been given posting access at this point.
  
• Do not submit your icons here. Post all 20 icons at once into a new entry.
  
• Your icon post must be public. Any link that leads to a locked entry will not be approuved.
  
• All icons must be made specifically for this community. No prior work can be submitted. If we find that you've broken this rule, you will not be allowed to participate in the next round.
  
• Icons must fit the LJ standards: under 40KB, 100x100px and either in a .PNG, .GIF or .JPG file format.
  
• All images must be PG-13 and contain no questionable or mature content.
  
• Use the provided table to post your icons. Colours and fonts may be edited.
  
• Sign ups closes on April 20th, 2011.
  
• Your 20 icons are due no later than April 30th, 2011.

SUBMISSION

• Title your post using the following format:
  
  
  [Round #04] character
  
  ex: [Round #04] Michael
• Your entry should have 3 examples icons before adding the table under a cut or linking us to your journal.
  
• Do not tag your entry. One of the mods will take care of it for you.

THEMES

(01) THE FRAME

Icon must include a border.

(02) HUMAN NATURE

Free interpretation.

(03) SEEIN' DOUBLE

Icon must feature twice the same image.

(04) FACELESS

Icon cannot include the face of your character.

(05) S.O.S

Icon must feature your character into a distress or a dangerous situation.

(06) EMPTY

Free interpretation.

(07) MICROSCOPIC

Icon must include some tiny text.

(08) AROUND THE CORNER

Icon must feature your character with a wall (i.e. about to turn a corner, peeking to see on the other side, etc.).

(09) REVERSAL

Icon must feature your character upside down.

(10) ASYMMETRICAL

Icon must be a shape other than the traditional square (e.g. circle, rectangle, star, etc.). The icon itself still needs to be a 100x100px. Also, save your image under a .GIF or .PNG format to have a blank background (not .JPG).


CATEGORY

(11-15) ALTERNATIVE

All 5 icons must have the same base. Once the base have been chosen, you have to use 5 different technics / tools to modify the image creating 5 unique icons (i.e. once you've used a texture you can't used it again; play around with the contrast instead, change the colours only, use the different brushes, etc.)
