Kibum knew he had to get that damn driver's license sooner or later. Not that it would be a problem... if only his teacher wasn't so friggin' hot.
“Turn left here, Kibum-ah.”
Kibum nervously turned his car left, but nearly hit an oncoming car in the process since his mind wasn't entirely on the road. From the corner of his eye he saw Soohyun jump in his seat, and he most definitely felt his instructors oncoming heatwave.
“Kibum! You have to watch the road before turning. God! I thought you were gonna have us killed there!” Soohyun scolded. Kibum shrank under his gaze. Soohyun was mad.
“Pull over!”
“But...”
“I said: PULL OVER!”
Kibum did as he was told and Soohyun got out of the car. He was gone for ten minutes and when he got back he looked a lot more calm and collected. Kibum felt helpless and angry at the same time.
“Listen to me now Kibum. Do you want to be able and drive this car or do you want to kill me along with yourself in a car accident?”
“I... uhm... I'm not THAT bad, am I?”
“You really are THAT bad Kibum.” Soohyun only said and sighed softly. He leaned back in his seat, trying to keep himself from freaking out.
“but.....I....uh....Am Not!”
“You nearly had us killed again, twice only today. Four times last week and seven the week before that!”
“But I'm improving!!”
“You're hopeless”
He met Soohyun once a week for driving lessons and Kibum really wasn't a good driver. Quiet the contrary - he was a disaster. On the road, behind the wheel, he was potentially life threatening to
not just the car's occupants but anything within a 10 foot radius around the car.
He got yelled at every week for almost hitting things while driving. And he always managed to panic and flail when he lost control of the car.
It was all Soohyun's fault. He was so damn hot and Kibum swore that the air in the car was 10 degrees warmer than it was outside. He always felt jumpy and nervous if Soohyun got too close. And it really wasn't helpful since Soohyun sometimes got way too close for being just his driving instructor. Oh no... Soohyun would even stare intently at him as he tried to pretend that he didn't notice at all but was just driving along. And even as Soohyun stared, he still pointed out small things that Kibum seemed to do wrong. This just made Kibum mess up all the more. Soohyun touched him a lot too. Kibum told himself that it was all innocent and it was just Soohyun trying to remind him to pay attention to his driving.
“Remember your brakes.” He would say, caressing Kibum's thighs like it was something he did to any of his students. It was only when the touch lingered a little too long, a little too high, that Kibum would start to squirm uncomfortably. Sometimes Soohyun would touch his hand while he was turning the steering wheel. In the end, Kibum didn't know how to act in front of the older guy.
He even thought of switching to another teacher, since Soohyun made him feel all weird and tingly.
Well, back to the current situation. Soohyun made Kibum drive all around town again, but this time, he had his own hand on the steering wheel, guiding Kibum whenever he was going to turn. Kibum wouldn't have cared less... had it not been for Soohyun's hand slowly caressing his own as they drove along. Kibum felt himself tense up more and more with each passing moment. They stopped at the red light, and Soohyun turned to the jumpy, near-jittery boy beside him.
“Why are you so tense? Driving isn't all that hard, is it?”
Kibum turns to look at Soohyun nervously. The older guy was all smiles and Kibum couldn't keep himself from blushing. Soohyun had an adorable smile.
“eh... uhm.. no... it's not... hehe...” Kibum stuttered out nervously. He managed to move his hand away from Soohyun's to wipe his own face a little bit. Why was this car so hot all of a sudden? Soohyun pulled his hand back and Kibum could finally concentrate on the road again and on not getting them both killed, but only if Soohyun kept his hands to himself. Which he did... but not for long. Soon enough, Soohyun's hand was back, now caressing his thigh in a rather... not-so-innocent way. Kibum wanted to turn and glare at him.
“Hyung! I'm trying to dri-” CLUNK.
“Oh god. I think you just hit something.”
They went quiet for a moment...and then the smell hit them.
“I think I just hit a skunk.”
“You sure did...”
“Oh.”
“You're cleaning this car after this lesson.”
