(no subject)
It seems like everything has been a huge struggle since I came to Pitt.
DAY 1:
Waiting in a 45 minute line to get into Towers Garage. Waiting in a 1.5 hour line to get on the elevator. Unloading a lot of shit. Waiting for my parents to get here for round two. Repeat the whole process only without as long of a wait.
At night I rearranged a few things so I could set up the TV, etc. But the TV cable cord isn't long enough-of course. Around 11, Josh and Bryan came and we went to CMU to tour around and waist some time. I stole an extention cord that was much needed for my room.
Day 2:
Wake my ass out of bed at 8:00 because a guy was coming to set up my computer at 10:00AM and my roommate was also moving in this morning. She arrived at the same time he was setting up my net connection. His name was Ryan and he was fairly cute P.S. However, I still cannot get connnected in Towers because I did not bring a cable cord. I didn't know Towers wasn't Wireless! Now I have to type this paper for my court case so I have been going up and town the stairs/elevators trying to figure out the best computer to attempt this on. First I tried the Kiasks but I didn't know my past word. Back up stairs. Got it. Back downstairs. Then I didn't like them so I went to David Lawrence--closed. Back to Towers. Then to Hillman Library, my current location. It took me approximately 20 minutes to find a computer. I know I had to have gone up those Towers steps and elevators at least 5 more times.
I met this girl Brandy yesterday and now I have the song "Brandy your a fine girl, what a good wife, you would be" in my head. Once my roommate gets moved in we are going to go get our books. Hopefully a party tonight! Ok-time to right my paper and many errands (sp?) to run today!
