I know that there is only so much we can do when faced with all the life drama's and harsh realities. The only way we could stay sane and focused was to believe that one family helped back into their home, was one less that needed help. I have to say, it was incredible to watch the changes in some of the folks that came to work with us. Folks that did not realize what a rift there is in our country's class system and that racism is in fact alive and well---not only within individuals, but within our Government policies....The Storm has indeed brought about some good in the lives of folks who will take their experiences and 'Awakening' home and continue working in their communities. Anyway----sometimes---a heart and soul is momentarily overwhelmed by the 'Bad Things' in the world.....

Today is a new day and it’s Halloween---Each year I wait until the kids--now grandkids---are at school to transform my huge front porch into a SPOOKY, mysterious, haunted house. It is great fun! Are you sure that little one at your door isn’t really a goblin? BOOO!!!!
