drinking, pizza, and friends
it's 3.30 pm and i just woke up. last nite was ridiculous. mike, jared, duncan and i went drinking at wagamama, the lamb and flag and crush. then jared's place for more liquor and pepperoni pizza (viva la planet pizza!)... i was quite sozzled... (but i still remember that i owe jared a pack of cigarettes!)
after all that, i came to my room completely smashed and talked with caitlin, michelle, schutte, bryan, kei, robert, and lyle on the fone. that was great fun and it was, by far, the highlight of my evening. one person was in tears, another person's heart was broken, 2 people were happier than ever, another wasn't too talkative, and 2 of 'em were just the same old friends.
i really do think that when friends are far away from each other, one friend builds up this ideal vision in their head based on the best characteristics of the other and vice versa (due to lack of contact, i guess ppl just forget about the other characteristics of that person). then u really start missing them. i have found that this happens to me, and once i talk on the fone or see these friends, reality pops back in and u get the complete picture. for me, this is a way to find out who really is a great friend -- if these ideal characteristics that i have built up are still intact after talking with or seeing them. the really weird part is, most of my friends have only been further built up in my head after talking with or seeing them... that is such a great feeling
