I'm just a little upset.

I feel the need to write and comment about how I feel, as a representative of the United States...

I can't believe this. We just sent special forces into Syria. Forget Iran, we're starting another war, and this time it's with Syria. Who in the fuck do we think we are? We are choking on our freedom, it's killing the world! This feeling, it's worse than shock... I feel as if the world is ripping apart and it's the fault of those who are in charge in one stupid country. They have NO IDEA what sort of crimes against humanity they're committing. I'm so ashamed. I hate this stupid country and it's invasive ways. I will scream the next time I hear someone say "America is the greatest country in the world." This is just....there're no words to describe the pain I feel for everyone who is going to die because we are so full of ourselves that we're not going to kill not just one, not just one thousand, but so far upwards of one hundred thousand people to "spread democracy" to the middle east.

I could easily blame this on republicans. And I do. To be a repub you have to look at the issues and decide, one by one:

Gay marriage: "Well, I'm afraid of gays for whatever reason, and I hate what I fear even though it has NOTHING to do with me, so I'm gonna try and get it outlawed! I choose hate."

Economy: "Reaganomics. Oh, they worked, for sure! Why do you think we had such a huge economic boom in the 90's? You think it was Clinton? Pheh! No fuckin' way dude, it was all Ronald Reagan, the man with the plan. Trickle-down economics. We'll give lots and lots of money to already over-paid executives, and the money will somehow overflow into the middle class. Seems to be a trend continuing with Bush.....what? Recession? Bailout? What's happened here? After the bailout, you say there were top execs expensively vacationing with the bailout money and companies already burning through about half of their bailout money already? Nah, fuck that, I wanna keep my money! I choose separation of the middle and upper classes. I hate the middle class. I choose hate."

Environment: "God gave us oil! How can something God gave us be bad for the environment? I seriously doubt that upwards of 99% of the scientific community agrees that global warming exists. God made the Earth for only humans anyway. That's why he kicked us out of the Garden of Eden....wait, what? Anyway, fuck the environment. Environment is a liberal issue and therefore needs not be addressed. I choose to hate the Earth we live on."

War: "GO AMERICA! Gosh darn, I love war. It's a bunch of good ol' boys smoking cigarettes and shootin' bad guys. What's wrong with that? They're over there, protecting us! Hmm? You say that we never actually found evidence of WMDs, which is the reason Bush gave to invade Iraq in the first place? You say he lied to the American people, and that there was too little threat to justify invading an entire country, sacrificing hundreds of thousands of lives and allowing real threats, such as Al-Qaeda, to regroup and grow? No way man, he's spreading democracy. There's nothing wrong with that. Did I mention that I love war? I choose to hate other countries and peaceful solutions. I choose hate."

Elderly: "They need to die anyway, they don't need medicare or medicaid or any programs that support lower costs for essential prescription drugs. I don't like old people. I choose hate."

I could go on, but I can't stand it. I'm so tense for this election. If McCain is elected, more hate will spread and ignorant, stupid Americans that are afraid to leave their couches will cheer that hate rules the day. I don't hate people, generally. I'm not a hateful man. I'm quite a peaceful man. But I can't stand to see unwarranted hate in the world. And in the United States, it comes in spades. I don't exactly know why, anyway. Why can't we just love the middle class, accept gays, treat the environment with respect, and just be a peaceful nation who keeps to their own? What ever happened to "To each, his own?" Sorry for all the anger everyone, I just needed to vent...

Oh, and Terra's been sleeping. I'll wake her up once Niko has calmed a little bit.

Update: An officer from the raid group is quoted saying "We are taking matters into our own hands." Oh my god, we're out of control.
